Every disease tracked by MedicOath โ spanning rare diseases (9,040+), neglected tropical diseases, oncological, neurological, cardiovascular, autoimmune, metabolic, respiratory, paediatric, and more. Each disease page shows linked hypotheses, a neglect score ranking burden vs investment, AI-generated summaries, active clinical trials from ClinicalTrials.gov, a real-time activity feed, and RSS subscription. Researchers can watch any disease to receive notifications when new hypotheses are generated.
AI-generated drug repurposing hypotheses โ each proposing an existing approved drug that could treat a disease it was never designed for. Every hypothesis is scored across 7 dimensions (confidence, mechanistic plausibility, evidence convergence, novelty, tractability, impact, cost), grounded in real PubMed literature with structured evidence links to papers, ChEMBL compounds, and genes. Each has a Zenodo DOI, blockchain timestamp, plain language patient summary, linked clinical trials, discussion thread, version history, and embeddable badge. Hypotheses move through a 6-stage lifecycle: generated โ under review โ promising โ investigating โ validated โ trial ready.
Biomedical research papers ingested from PubMed via automated daily cron job. New papers are added every day at 4am UTC across 5 search categories: drug repurposing, neglected tropical disease treatment, rare disease therapeutics, orphan drug development, and AI drug discovery. Each paper is deduplicated by PubMed ID and linked to related hypotheses. Paper authors can claim their work on MedicOath and see which hypotheses reference their research โ creating a direct path to peer review.
Discoveries permanently timestamped on the Arbitrum L2 blockchain with IPFS content-addressed storage and Zenodo DOI minting. This creates an immutable, publicly verifiable, legally defensible record that the discovery was made at a specific time by MedicOath โ making it impossible for any entity to patent the finding. The blockchain record includes the hypothesis content hash, IPFS CID, and transaction hash. Every timestamped discovery belongs to humanity permanently, published as CC0 public domain. Verification is independent โ anyone can check any record using the Arbitrum Sepolia explorer.
